Teacher Application- Democracy and Capitalism Lab @ UVA

This program will invite 20 high school teachers from across the United States to a week-long experience focused on democracy, capitalism, and their intersection. We explore what democracy and capitalism are, how they were established in America, and the different ways people interact with democracy and capitalism in society today. This year is particularly exciting, as we will be discussing the foundations and impacts of democracy 250 years after it was established in the United States.
